Servelec HSC User Group Forum – Terms of Use

This Forum is hosted and managed by Servelec Healthcare Limited (trading as and hereafter referred to as “Servelec HSC”).

If you wish to use the Forum you must register and become a Forum member. As part of this you will be asked to accept the following Forum rules. Any use of the Forum constitutes your acceptance to these rules in full.

We reserve the right to change these rules at any time by posting changes on the Forum. It is your responsibility to refer to and comply with the most up to date version of these rules on accessing the Forum. Your continued use of the Forum after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance to these rules as amended.

The Forum rules are as follows: -

  1. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws or is in any way objectionable at the sole discretion of Servelec HSC;
  2. You agree not to post material that is in any way defamatory against Servelec HSC;
  3. You agree not to post material containing patient identifiable data or any other personal data belonging to a third party;
  4. You are reminded of your confidentiality obligations under your individual contracts (or those of your employer) with Servelec HSC and by using this Forum, you agree not to post any material from these contracts which would reasonably be deemed as confidential e.g. pricing, intellectual property rights etc. and would more than likely put you (or your employer) in breach of contract;
  5. You agree and warrant that any information you place upon the Forum is original to you and does not infringe the copyright or any other rights of any other person;
  6. Servelec HSC assumes no responsibility or liability for the use of this Forum or any postings created. Any postings on this Forum should not be taken as representing the views of Servelec HSC;
  7. By posting any material on this Forum you hereby permit Servelec HSC to use that material, copy it and make any part of it available on the site, other internet sites or communication mediums, or any other means of communication in any format;
  8. You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under the terms to anyone else and your use of the Forum is personal to you;
  9. Servelec HSC cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered through the use of this Forum, or any application to use this Forum. Except for liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation and personal injury/death caused by its negligence in no event will Servelec HSC, its affiliated companies or any of its officers be liable for any damages whatsoever, or whether in contract, negligence or other action, including (but not limited to) damages for loss of use of this Forum, damage to equipment or other software, or loss of data or profits or for any other monitory loss or for any indirect or consequential damages, arising out of or in connection with the use (or inability to use) or the performance of the Forum. In addition, in no event shall Servelec HSC, its affiliated companies or any of its officers be liable for any unauthorised use of the Forum.
  10. You may terminate your use of the Forum at any time for any reason by notifying Servelec HSC accordingly;
  11. Servelec HSC reserves the right at its sole discretion to edit, review or remove messages or delete members at will and without notice, who post messages that contravene the Forum rules or in any other way in the sole opinion of Servelec HSC is inconsistent with the Forum rules or the intended use of the Forum;
  12. Servelec HSC reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Forum or any part of it at any time without notice or liability to you. Servelec HSC is entitled to suspend or terminate your use of the Forum or access to any part of the Forum at any time if you are in breach of any these rules and you agree that Servelec HSC shall have no liability to you in that event;
  13. Servelec HSC will address breaches of the above rules as soon as they are able. However, the Forum members are requested to report any posts that they feel are inappropriate and breach the rules and the spirit of the Forum and Servelec HSC. This can be done by using the 'Report' button on each individual post or by sending a message to Servelec HSC;
  14. These Forum rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the rules of England. Any dispute arising from the use of the Forum or the terms of the use of the Forum will be decided only by the English Court. If any of the rules or part of any rules are held by any court to be unlawful or invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, this will not affect the validity of the remaining rules or parts thereof which will continue to be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted.
